"I've Been Played" Jazz Album

— One of the funnest projects I've ever worked on.

Even though it was a CD, we automatically decided it should feel like an album—you know, vinyl—including creating record labels for the song list.

These are images from the actual production files. Jeff was the Creative Director on this job, having other friends take the shots for the cover and the recording sessions. It was all seamless and perfect, thanks to him.

Even though it would have been really cool to produce album-size sleeve notes, we live in a digital world and so a digital booklet was created for the iTunes store. Below are a few samples from the pages.

Other marketing materials included release date flyers and pricing posters for the CD, to be used at live events.

It was so much fun to explore different design options for the album cover. And Jeff was the ideal client, knowing exactly what he wanted.

The records you see here, do not physically exist. They were created completely in Photoshop.
