Frosted Mini-Wheats

THE CHALLENGE

We had to communicate the unique, satisfying texture of the cereal. Also, the secondary challenge was getting everyone to be OK with running animated commercials for adults.

THE PROCESS

We tried out so many characters that had a big "bite". These proved the most believable and entertaining. Who wouldn't love a British hyena?

THE FACTS

In focus groups, adults loved all the characters and got the satisfying cereal message in spades.
Sadly, they never ran for adults, but at least older teens got to see them.

This was truly one of the most amazing projects I ever worked on. We got to collaborate with a brilliant animator in London—Oscar Grillo— who brought these characters to life in a way no one could have imagined. I'm working on getting some better resolution in these videos.
