THE CHALLENGE
Getting prospective families to consider Brickton Montessori School as an alternative to traditional education. It is a private school with considerable tuition in an area where most families send their children to public or parochial school. They had to be shown the difference of a Montessori education and its inherent value.
THE PROCESS
I had used the students' art work for a previous event and it had been so well-received that I decided to employ it again. This time, however, the purpose was to physically show families the amazing work that goes on in the lower grades, such as curriculum and projects that were way beyond what you'd expect in a traditional school. Not only academics were highlighted, but also community building, global awareness and kindness.
